Both the GFS and ETA have been trending toward a faster and more NE solution. The NWS in Greenville/SPartanburg mentions this in this morning's discussion. Its a bit early to call the whole stall off, but its looking a lot better than it was yesterday.
The GFS has been out to lunch for (1) Charley, (2) Frances, and now (3) Ivan. The GFS has been smoking crack, and I see no reason why it should sober up for Jeanne.

I wasn't talking about Jeanne. The forecast for 3 days has been for Ivan to stall somewhere near the Southern Appalachains. Many of the models are now trending towards a more progressive solution for the remnants of Ivan, and I certainly hope that is the case.
