jeanne and ivan interaction

*I posted this question in another thread but didnt really get any answers...so im making a thread for it since the activity is not extremely high on the board right now (well compared to when we are under a landfalling hurricane)*

ok, maybe the difference in a day or to helps...but if you look at the tracks of ivan and jeanne....they basically slam into each other over SC. ivan will be drifting south into SC on sunday and then if this path for jeanne validates then she will slam right into the remains of ivan on tuesday....can this happen or will they kinda like roll one way or another around each other?

Ivan will no longer be powerful at that point and Jeanne will likely push Ivan away from it, or be deflected upwards if its not that powerful.

Oh please, how old are we - 7? The reasoning behind this whole post is really important because Ivan will either break down the ridge and pull Jeanne towards the Carolinas, or he'll move out and the ridge will build enough to pull Jeanne west into the Gulf at some point. There, just trying to bring civilized intelligent conversation back!

First let me shout to the world that I know nothing about meteorology. I was perusing a weather site to get forecast conditions for my area and found this:

Our local met keeps pointing out that Ivan is tracked to start moving S toward us at the same time Jeanne could be moving toward us and just says it will be interesting.
I was wondering the same thing. Could they meet up? Will Ivan be so long gone by then that it won't really matter?
Will we just get a ton of rain?

I have not a clue what Mrs. J is going to do, I just hope this forecast will be less nerve tingling than Ivan and Frances were!

yes but by the looks of it amanzi, it seems that ivan just couldnt give us enough problems and so he had to go poke his nose into jeannes business and try and complicate her forecast by not letting us know exactly where she is suppose to go...*sigh*
