My mom told me this afternoon that she heard Joe B. on one of her XM radio stations and that he thinks this is a Miami storm. According to what she told me, he said that the waters north (i.e., Frances' path) are cooler because they've been churned up by the other storms. He thinks that it will continue more westerly, go over warmer waters, strengthen (don't know to how much), and come in to extreme SE FL....
Now...take that and do with it as you will...I'm just passing on info.

Jeanne's path
I have been following the projected paths of both the NHC and Accuweather. I feel at this early point of the game that based upon the cones of possiblilities that both are showing, I will follow the NHC. Accuweather wants to keep the whole South Easten coast open for future debate in case they make an error.

I still can't believe Roland Steadham's Jeanne forecast the other night. He basically wrote it off completely and was very smug and confident about it. Heck, he didn't even have it brushing the Carolinas.
