The Mountain Effect...

#1 Postby Anonymous » Thu Sep 16, 2004 6:47 pm

May well explained Jeanne's jog to the N... Similar to what we saw with Ivan and Jamaica.

In other news, the Virgin Islands east of PR may be undergoing a severe flooding event.

Anyone have an official breakdown of the physics for this to happen? Something published..I can see it..but yet can't finish the energy reflecting towards the LLC and deflecting it...

Supposedly the winds of the hurricane create friction against a mountain range or something, and pushes it away from the mountain range. Thats a vague translation though.

I have heard.. I have visualized..I wanna see some facts and a breakdown of the process..Vague is exactly the issue here..This has been mentioned so many times..I wanna know the facts..Friction pushing a LLC is way to vague..

I've read some...looking for them right now! There are a ton of them, I am just trying to find a few that are simpler and easy for everyone to understand (including me). I'll look in BAMS first.
