*gulp* Right up the mouth of the river.

Keep in mind it's just a forecast model, and, as we saw with Ivan, these forecasts can change.

Not to mention, Jeanne's survival is a question mark at this point.

I give her a 50/50 shot a surviving. The reason why is that her center is at 19.5N. All it needs to do is get to 20.0N and she will be ok.

Ok, that does it. I'm going to take a very loooooong nap. Wake me when Jeanne has finally gone away.

Worst thing is, it's not like we homeowners can just pick up, head to Canada, and enjoy reading/discussing the weather on S2K - we have to board up, unboard, buy more water, yada, yada, yada.

Yep, board up and take a very long nap.

AHH! lol.. I can't believe it.. That model would put Jeanne's eye right over my house or pretty close too it..

It's also further south that the NHC's.. That 1 looks like a Brevard County landfall..

Let's just pray she's no stronger than a Cat 1 if she survives.

How about everyone go to the beach and blow eastward at the same time - create our own 'bad breath ridge'

Clouded the future of Jeanne's path is. Unknown where she we will go. Question her on her future path, I will.

I think too many people get worked up over the long range forecast 4 to 5 days. I think history has shown us these long range forecasts have been subject to great fluctuations and are rarely accurate. I will get concerned when the 3 day track says the cane is coming this way not before. I don't think the technology exists for the long range stuff and I think the NHC and other professionals need to be carefull in giving the long range projections unless they can back it up with statistics. I gets people too exicted. 3 days is plenty of preparation time for a cane.

Oh gee, lets run to home depot and buy some more plywood and generators.

IF tropical depression Jeanne comes this way (cent fla), it will dump some rain and might be 35 mph breeze.

Now, watch it grow to a cat 3....lol
