Well at least Jeanne won't be a major by the time she threatens any one around here or up there. Based on what I'm seeing out of the NHC strong cat 1 at most. No sweat. It is interesting that if you look at it, the only one portion of Florida that hasn't been directly affected by a hurricane this season is exactly where Jeanne appears to be threatening.

While the National Hurricane Center's five-day forecast has Jeanne hitting northeast Florida as a Category 2 hurricane early Wednesday morning, Channel 4 Meteorologist John Gaughan doesn't agree.

"I have no confidence in this forecast; I don't even think they have any confidence in it," John Gaughan said Friday on the morning show. "I think it's much more likely to sit and spin in the Bahamas. If it does that it would grow and be a big threat to southeast Florida, not us."
