It might sell.
A TV station dedicated to storms. Get a least a few on site weather man up to date satellite technology and a cable TV station. Bang. You could have storm coverage all day all year. From all over the world. Include winter events I really think there is a mkt for it. Look at Ivan ,Francis and Charlie. Every cable news service was selling it and almost full time. Right now there could be aleast couple reporters in Domincan Rep and Haiti set up.......

Noooooo!
Carmen Electra would be a great on the scene reporter.
Require the on air female talent to work in bikinis for tropical events.
And down a few of the local alcoholic specialties while they are at it. Then when the storm hits - see what happens in the storm shelter (be like a segway to another reality TV show!).
Ahhhhhhhh........OK probably not gonna work.
But you see the problem. If you have an Ivan the idea is great but there are lots of slow times and you know some TV exec would try anything they could think of to prop up the ratings.
