Looks like a double shot of action will be coming though.

You can see that one renegade cell heading just west of north.

Are they actual sightings on the ground or seen on doppler radar as rotation?

as if what the VA/DC/Maryland went through this afternoon wasn't bad enough there looks to be some more bad weather heading their way. I saw some pics of the tornados on another website. Those didn't look like your avg. F-1 hurricane tornados (F-2/3 maybe)

Well, I was going to take a "weather break" for the evening (after checking the board, of course!!!) Guess I'd better switch back to TWC as I have family in Falls Church and Springfield. I heard on the NBC Evening News that Ivan is expected to affect at least 15 states. (hopefully, only once each and that he doesn't come back south as has been speculated)

Wow, very bad, hard to get any news on it here in Florida. TWC doesn't cover it to good, I will have to check with a local TV website

Take Care,

Thanks

Dude, You know that F4 tornado that hit college park in 2002? That tornado came less than a 1/4 mile from my house. I came home and my street was crystal clean. I didn't find out about the tornado until I drove by the university and saw all the trees twisted up. As a matter of fact when I was driving home from work, I saw these pitch black clouds in the direction of where I lived. I was saying to myself, "Those people over there are getting blasted!" Little did I know it was my neighborhood! lol Freaky huh?
