Will we set a new record?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Will we set a new record?

#1 Postby shorrock » Fri Sep 17, 2004 6:24 pm

Hi.

Just watching TV here, and they were talking about busy seasons. Apparently 1995 was the most busy with 19 storms, then 1933 was second. We already have 11 storms this year, with a long time to go. Anyone think we will break the record?

^ Unfortunately, not as many fish this year... all of them (save 2 or 3) seem to be finding it...

Actually 1933 was first with 21 storms, and 1995 and 1887 in second place with 19 ...

No, I don't think we'll break a record ... activity this year, IMHO, will shut off either in Late October, or November ending just as the season started, quietly ...
