That was amazing! Seeing the transformers blow in the distance and all...scary stuff. I have always been extremely paranoid of tornados, even though I have never experienced one. That is one of my biggest fears! Thank you for the clip...

That was wild! Scary and sad for the people who were in the path, but what a shot for that news station. I wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't get an award of some kind. Talk about up to the minute live brodcasting. WOW! Thanks for the link.

Breathtaking!
My 10y/o son counted 14 transformer flashes.:shocked!:

Thanks for the video.

(on my iMac running OSX, I had to download the clip before WMP would play it)

Yes it is tragic 1 person died in a building across the street from the restaurant. Many lives though may have been saved by the broadcast.

Great video. Generally it is not easy to see tropical generated tornadoes as they are usually hidden in the squall.

I was in a tornado in 1971 which was a byproduct of Hurricane Edith while I was at school. While there were several, mostly minor injuries, there were no deaths.

It was a rather anxious time, to say the least! Luckily, no damage to the station....(yes, that is me narrating)

This was the 3rd of 26 confirmed tornadoes that night...we did 10 hours of wall to wall coverage.

Thanks to whomever that brought this thread up ... I saw this posted somewhere else and by the time I got to it, the link itself was not operating ...

The video is absolutely breathtaking ...
