Unbelievable rout

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Sat Apr 05, 2003 9:19 am

More than 100K Iraqi dead to only about 100 Coalition Dead. The rout in even occurring in the limited incursions into Baghdad. This is a complete rout and should send N Korea a lesson as to what exactly it is they will be dealing with if they keep up their nuclear program

Derek, where did you see those figures? I haven't seen any "body counts" for the Iraqi KIA. Just wondering?

the military is not relaesing the figures for fear it will be too gruesome. fox, and their military experts have estimated 50-100 thousand iraqi dead.
body parts were knee deep in front of our lines during the heavy fighting. the dead were 15 deep. the military is not allowing these pictures to be released

Just a clarification point... they are not "reporting" that... it is an estimation by generals and experts on the show. No confirmation...

Corpses Found

#8 Postby M2 » Sat Apr 05, 2003 11:15 am

A Fox Iraqi reporter (Greg Kelly) said 1,000 Iraqis have been killed, but we've also found a building with many corpses in coffins that contain bodies & body parts along with a log on how these people died. They are not from this battle but have apparently been there quite some time.

We've got al Jazeera being broadcast on CNN for a block of time which is a first, and reports that the chemical weapons and other evidence of WMDs have been moved into Syria. There are also reports of both Syrian and Egyptian special forces slipping into Iraq to assist Saddam in Baghdad so he's received reinforcements. Col. David Hunt & Mr. Safir the CEO of an investigative & intelligence agency in NY presented some interesting assessments regarding al Qaeda and the current situation in Baghdad: it's definitely not over, they used the 'mad dog backed into a corner' analogy who use any means as a last resort. But Safir was making the point that although al Qaeda has been affected by financial lockdowns across the globe and surprise attacks there & in other counties, they are still active and he expects attacks here (in the US) and also in Iraq against our troops - be it from small Qaeda groups or the 'lone supporter' who's not officially a member but will carry out terrorist activity on their own. Republican Guards have changed clothes from their uniforms into citizen's clothing and are waving welcome to our incoming troops...It's definitely not over even with the high numbers of enemy casualities projected and reported. We have to also watch our backs here in the homeland.
