Take a look at 14.5 north/37.5 west...that little bright spot!

I would call it more of high cirrus around the eye. But I don't think its an eye yet. color value is still Orangish

In my opinion it will be upgraded at 5:00, but I could be wrong.

The NHC run the 06Z models under Hurricane Karl, so it will most likely be a hurricane at 5AM EDT. However, it will also be a fish...IMO

Nrl says 75 knots with a pressure of 981 millibars...Remember what that pest named kyle did a few years ago.

If i remember correctly Ivan looked very good,and Karl to me is just starting to look like Ivan when it shot up to category-3.

It wouldn't suprise me to find out Karl is a category-2,or quite close to it anyway.
