1 mile/hour (mph) = 1.609344 kilometer/hour

or

1 kilometer/hour = 0.6213712 mile/hour (mph)

very possible in gusts.

If you don't happen to have a calcullator with you and you don't need to be very precise, a quick ballpark figure is to use 60% which is actually easier in two steps.

take half and add a tenth

ie 70 km/h = 35 + 7 = 42MPH aprox 40-45 MPH will cover it
