Jeanne Getting Better Organized!

#1 Postby TampaFl » Sat Sep 18, 2004 7:17 am

latest visable satillite pictures indicate that Jeanne may be getting better organized.  It appears that the low level circulation is getting tucked under the main circulation once again (hence getting stronger?) Time will tell. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

I don't view jeane as a "threat" at this time.

I'd worry more about your afternoon lightning storm.

Yep Yep..It's tucked and the shear should hinder imeadiate Jeanne bombing.. Pressure is steady with a decent windfield of ~85 miles..

Dunno, Jeanne seems to be ing her act together again. She is moving into a more favorable area, and may stay there a couple of days. Notice the shear has backed off, allowing cnvection to return. She will eventually get trapped by the high, and have to come back westward. Now dooes she do this gracefully? Or kicking and screaming? if she does the latter, shear might tear her up a bit....if not, she may strengthen even further depending on the Ivan scenario. Gotta go put the fence back up. Wonder if it'll blow down again. At least I haave power after 13 days

Looking at this massive Orange Blob invading Florida from the NW is actually kinda comforting for a great weekend of football down here.. :D

Not sure what to think especially after looking at the lastest model runs. First, it is suppose to stall and then move possibly southwest? That's crazy. This season has been relentless and to think it didn't even get going until August 1st.

Hmmm...looks like that big orange blob might actually be headed toward the NW, perhaps in the direction of Knoxville, TN. Massive amounts of orange up indicated in that area for some reason.
