Does anyone here still think Ivan was a Cat 2 at landfall?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

regardless of cat 3 which is extensive or cat 4 extreme it looks by the pictures to be strong cat 3. Which technicaly is almost the same.

I agree with linda...definately cat 1 damage in MS. I just came back today because our power was off. I couldnt believe house the wind damage increased so dramatically once you got south of I-10...then south or HWY 90. All the poles on our road were leaning southward.
