Could karl miss trof and head west?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Could karl miss trof and head west?

Im looking at his latest almost due west movement. Also the trof should be picking him up by now. Anyone think that Karl is missing the trof right now and the ridge will build back in?

Nope. Ain't gonna happen.

His trend is still 1 degree north for every 2 west or so, and I'm confident he'll be recurving between 45 and 50W.

I know nobody is watching Karl but looks like Karl has taken a jog to the WSW on the latest image....
