Can someone explain more about Asperger's to me?

How much different life would be if I did things other late teens and 20 somethings do... I am going to be trapped in my early to mid teens (leaving the house doing what most people do on this planet) forever.
As for relationships, I wouldn't mind having friends of either gender... but it has no way of working with not being able to meet anyone my (our) age.

here's a article I found on Dr. Phils site on a past show I watched. Talks about living at home when your too old and relationship problems.

Is your life where you want it?" Dr. Phil asks Jeremy.
"Not even close," he replies. "Not only can I not get a real job, but I've also never had a girlfirend," says Jeremy. "I'm worried I'm going to break the record for the world's oldest virgin."
"You have no girlfriend, no job, no life, no car, no belongings, no nothing...the only thing you have is the key to your parents' house. What are you doing about it?" Dr. Phil asks.
"I'm trying, trying, trying to get a job," he answers.
"Do you get the sense that you are generating a lack of momentum that can really bite you?" Dr. Phil asks.
"Yes," he answers.
"You get into this comfort zone where days turn into months and then years and then before you know it you're 28 and you're living at home. It seems to me that if you don't have a job, your job is finding a job," Dr. Phil says. "And you said you don't have a girlfriend...would you date somebody who would date you right now? Who wants to come home and eat mac and cheese with your mother?"

I don't have and don't want my driver's license. For one thing I have eye sensitives, especially when the heat or air conditioning is on.
If I wanted to go use the car, my parents would most likely say no, not sure why. I can't even go uptown with the golf cart that we are allowed to drive around the community we live in. They say there's too much traffic...

Wow. I feel sorry for you.

True. Still I cant imagine my whole life not having a girlfriend or wife, and being lonely. Just sounds too depressing to me.

As some of you know, I have wondered before if I may have asperger's. The more I read about it the more I think I probably just have social anxiety disorder or something along those lines. I too have never had a girlfriend, although I have been close to getting one a few times. There's this girl that I like now but I'm scared to find out how she feels. I guess that's just typical in these situations though, I wouldn't really blame it on a disorder. And Charley, you shouldn't only look for "hot" girls. Looks aren't that important; relationships based only on looks won't last.

How old are you? I understand looks are not important, but I want someone Im attracted to and find sexy. is this girl you like cute? First find out if she has a boyfriend. Maybe just talk with her and tell her you like her and ask her if she wants to go out and do something one night.

I'm 19. Now don't misunderstand what I said. There does have to be some physical attraction between two people. What I meant is that you shouldn't only look for "hot" girls, you may be physically attracted to someone you wouldn't classify as hot. The girl I like is quite pretty but that isn't why I like her, I like her because she's one of the sweetest people I've ever met.
