I think the confidence is low in any Jeanne forecast at the moment. But this scenario is at least as plausible as any other.

To me it looks as if Jeanne will be on of those long term weak TS that just hangs on forever but really never does much of anything. There have been several like this in the past few yrs, can't remember there names.
The NHC discussion states that shear will be a long term problem.
I would be willing to bet if she moves NE, she won't do the big south loop but continue NE as a displaced storm near the coast.

Jeanne is looking a little better this morning. Give her enough time out there, and I think she'll get her act together somewhat.

why not?? I can remember Dennis back in 1999 had something simalar... Not to mention Kyle, and several others.. Jeanne will be blocked by the large ridge building in north east.. No where for her to go.. The forecast works for me....

Well, at 11:00 it gets worse. Both the 3 day and 5 days are now circles!!!
Looks like a picture of a cell culture in a petri dish or something. I wanted to insert the actual picture as the NHC link points to an image that gets updated every 6 hours - so how do I do that?
