FLYING PROUD AND FREE


When I see Old Glory waving, my heart is filled with pride,
For all the soldiers that have marched, for all those who have died.


The Stars and Stripes are keeping watch over the land of the brave and free,
I’m thankful for all the heroes that have kept it flying, so I can see.


It’s more than a piece of cloth, with the colors red, white, and blue,
It’s a feeling deep in our chest that we are brave, loyal, and true.


It flies with American pride; it’s carried far so the world can see,
Foes, we fight to the death to keep Old Glory flying proud and free
