What is a BEAR WATCH?
I have seen many ADFs use this terminology with potential tropical development. Today's HOU-GAL AFD used the following statement:
BEAR WATCH WILL LIKELY BE POSTED

Not sure what they are talking about...but there are no bears in SE Texas...any more at least. We used to have black bears 60 or 70 years ago...but the habitat is gone and so are they.
