I know you're a well-respected Storm2K contributor, but I disagree with the definition you give.
It is insensitive and ignorant of us to define a storm as an exclusive "fish spinner" if it has had a major impact on any land mass, especially since it has caused deaths.
Such a definition leaves the less-informed believing it to have been harmless.
That said...
What should we call a storm that never hits the CONUS?
