Welcome aboard the Firefox train shorrock! And it's so much faster loading pages than IE, especially on broadband.

I have no problems with Internet Explorer... so I rather not change. Perhaps some day I will change my mind.

I don't have any problems on my desktop or laptop which is on the main router and firewall. One of my laptops was running slow so I went to Tucows.com and downloaded Spybot. It found all kinds of "junk" on there. Haven't tried it since yesterday when I installed Spybot but I don't remember ever getting a pop up or block on any of my computers on this site including one laptop that is not behind a firewall.

However, I am definitely going to run Spybot on it as soon as I get to the office in the morning.

Do you have e-wallet or autofill enabled? That could cause the password problem but it's still a fluke. Good luck.

Both Spybot S&D and AdAware found "Alexa", and an assortment of standard tracking cookies. Doesn't look like Alexa is the culprit, though.

Personally, I prefer Netscape to IE, though Firefox really looks nice, too. So the question remains - what's causing this attempt to send S2K my eBay password? Doesn't seem to be anything on my wife's PC.

I don't either.

Spyware is the main cause for you to get adult popups.

Adult pop-ups only appear because of visiting an adult site!

I typed in an address wrong and accidently got an adult site....I got 50 popups of adult material that I could not close fast enough! Once the site puts a cookie on your p.c. you will constantly get adult pop-ups till you get rid of that cookie....I have earthlink to cure this prob.!

Even though I use Firefox exclusively now, I LOVE IE too! All the problems my customers have with it and other Microsoft products keeps food in the fridge and pays all the bills. It's my bread and butter :)

Nothing but Netscape here... it's faster than IE and no popups.
