Winds in SE florida for the last 3 hours have been gusty out of the NW which may signify a potentiall llc forming just off the coast....

I dont know about a LLC but the infared loop looks to have some spin to it either a ULL or MLL. Remants of IVAN moving through in the GOM as predicted....

Very little wind here in Jupiter. What little there is seems to be coming from the NE. Hmmmm, wonder if something is going on.

were sustained around 20kts out of the nw and more gusty over the past 2 hours...very unusual wind flow for this area without some sort of circulation nearby

It may be in the mid-levels, but there is very clearly a low level circulation both in satellite and surface observations.

Lowest I can find is 29.79" (~1006 mb)...one buoy had sustained near 35 mph w/ gusts to ~ 45 mph overnight but haven't seen any as high since.

Pasco County, right above Tampa.

Pretty breezy out, clouds to the East, rain on it's way.

Had a heck of a lightning strike too!
