U X bombs washed up on shore at gulf breeze

#1 Postby stu » Mon Sep 20, 2004 2:26 pm

Just got back to the UK after chasing IVAN and wanted to post these images from Gulf Breeze - I was shocked to find live ordance in the front garden of this house.

sorry about the cross post - just arrive back in the UK and I have loads to report from Gulf Shores and Gulf Breeze where we have carried out a damage survey- but first I need sleep - this has been a tough week.

Thanks - we put the pringles can there to give and idea of the size of the thing. I really do need sleep right now - but I will post images of our damage assesment of Gulf Shores and Gulf Beach - some sombre stuff there.

Considering how much the area's been used for that sort of military thing over the years, I'd be surprised if they didn't find more UXB debris.
