No name yet, not even a depression, but it appears there is a low with a low-level circulation off the Florida coast, associated convection moving WSW, possibility of organization after crossing the peninsula and reaching the Gulf of Mexico.

Since it's not on the NHC menu yet, you can get info by reading the forecasts, discussions, and weather statements at Florida NWS sites:

Excerpt:

THE REMNANT CIRCULATION OF IVAN IS CURRENTLY LOCATED OFFSHORE OF PALM BEACH COUNTY...MOVING SLIGHTLY WEST OF SOUTH. KAMX AND LONG-RANGE KBYX RADAR IS DETECTING A NEARLY SOLID AREA OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ROTATING
IN FROM THE EAST ACROSS EAST-CENTRAL FLORIDA...THEN MOVING SOUTHWEST ALONG THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA COASTLINE.

Well, it is 94L invest. That is a start. Winds are 30 miles per hour, and it looks decent on satellite. Good sites KeyLargoDave.

I read somewhere that its a cold core system?? When it turns warm core will they upgrade to a tropical depression?

If it has low-level circulation, it's warm-core, AFAIK. Depression designation depends on pressure/winds. Anyone have a definition link?
