Somebody may have already brought this up but every 3rd named storm has affected Florida this year and Lisa is up to bat after Ivan if the trend continues. Spooky!

Maybe someone high up doesn't like Bush -- do the terrorist have technology that we don't know about?

We need John Kerry down here to equalize the media exposure. The only positve of hurricane Francis was that the convention was not televized down here in South FLorida.

It's God's way of telling Florida that hanging chads, swinging door chads, and dimpled chads are the LEAST of Florida's worries.

Bush is doing his Job by going down to Florida. At this time when the state is in deep need of help. He is being a leader durning a time of need in he is trying to do his job. People have lost there homes and there lifes. This is the presidents job in that is what a president doe's. This is no time to bash our president when part of our nation is in trouble. He is doing the best he can. You people have a serious problem because you care more about bashing him then letting him piece the state of Florida back together. You people that bash him for going down there should be ashame of your selfs.

I'm fairly new to this forum and have found the weather discussions informative and mature...until tonight. Oddly enough, after reading the above by those who willfully chose to ignore the 1.20 a.m. request to take it to the political forum, I'm just more certain I'm making the right choice for president.

I am sorry if you feel that current events (including the social economic ramifications of devastating hurricanes) do not affect politics. THEY ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE (especially in an election year).

The discussion was about whether some thought that Bush's visit to the hardest hit areas was motivated by political reasons or a sincere concern for those who had been ravaged by the weather. I think it was a valid discussion point for those concerned about the welfare of the victims of these storms. (Which by the way is me also).

Whoah there buddy, put the dic. and the. away before you hurt youself.

Yoda is right, debate all you want in the political forums, delving into that here is wrong.
If you have a problem with someone simply pm them, no need to continue your little debate in the view of others.
