...Jeanne moving east-southeastward and remains no immediate
threat to any land areas...

at 11 am EDT...1500z...the center of Hurricane Jeanne was located
near latitude 27.5 north...longitude 69.3 west or about 485
miles... 785 km...east of great abaco island.

Jeanne is moving toward the east-southeast near 7 mph...11 km/hr. A
gradual turn to the southeast or south...with a gradual decrease in
forward speed...is expected later today or tonight.

Maximum sustained winds are near 90 mph...150 km/hr...with higher
gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next
24 hours.

Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 45 miles... 75 km...
from the center...and tropical storm force winds extend outward up
to 120 miles...195 km.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 972 mb...28.70 inches.

Dangerous surf and rip currents...caused by large swells generated
by Hurricane Jeanne...are possible along the southeastern U.S.
Coast and the northwest and central Bahamas for the next few days.

Repeating the 11 am EDT position...27.5 N... 69.3 W. Movement
toward...east-southeast near 7 mph. Maximum sustained
winds... 90 mph. Minimum central pressure... 972 mb.

Doubt if Jeane comes anywhere near EC Fl. Seems to be moving east again after moving SE for awhile Got about 2 inches of rain from Ivans little buddy. The wind is brisk out there about 20 mph gust. Hope you all are having a productive day.

Hurricane., If she moves West again.. it depends.. Because if she gets kicked back out into the ATL then of course not..

But if she keeps moving west with little resistance she may come this way
