tortuga island just disapear= 26,000 people lost!!!!

:eek: :eek: boys, tortuga island just disapear out of the map, this island is located close to haiti, 26,000 people is the population of that island :( ,...i just got a call from someone from haiti, 650 deads, and some helipcoter from UN are flying to the disater zone..if can check the lasted satellite pic.... you just can not find it..... a helicopter pilot just said ¨: we can not find the island:.....oh..mama..this going loco around here, 35 boats are now going out to see !! they will try to find something....



please let us know if you find out something!!! :cry:

Lets thinka obut this- if we're not losing border islands in the US to cat 5's.... Jeanne couldn't have erased an island.

Probably a miscommunication.

Funny, the island is still EASILY visible on GHCC satellite as of 15 minutes ago :-)

On the Satellite they draw the lines to show the land. If I remember right. As for this not being true. I will not believe so intill real information gets posted or news tells me other wise. I hope its not true.

On daytime vis sats you can easily see the land within the drawn lines.
