the gfdl has a direct land fall in carteret county north carolina

Let's hope Jeanne keeps making the loop and ends up staying in the ocean. No one in the SE needs anymore hurricane related weather.

Yes. But that will likely change. I think the rule was if its over you in more than 96 hours... you're not going to get hit with the center.

yes that is the rule with gfdl and gfs. with models trending west i think the system hits land long before north carolina

Sigh... looks like lots of sleepless nights watching what this one is going to do. I'm with Petunia, lets hope Jeanne just keeps turning and ends up out to sea.

Well with all of the models always trending west. I'd say go west young man. :-)

The west shift to the models has me more concerned than lets say two days ago. :eek: Hopefully she becomes a fish but that is looking less likely.
