Center of circulation for Ivan remnants...

#102 Postby Raider Power » Wed Sep 22, 2004 3:47 pm

I was looking at the visible loop of the Ivan remnants in the Gulf and was wondering if first if there is a center of circulation, and second if that cirulation is located on the lower left hand side of the cluster of storms that makes up the remnants. As trying to detect stuff in a satellite loop can be like looking for a horsey in clouds, I was curious as to whether I was simply seeing things in that loop. The "center" I am seeing appears on the 19:15 UTC frame.

Recon is on it's way. It was delayed for some apparent reason.

Yes there is a llcc and it is on southern edge of the convection a little west of what one might consider the center of all the convection.
