TD IVAN, H JEANNE, H KARL, AND TS LISA. WILL MATTHEW COME TO JOIN THE QUADRUPLE?

THIS IS WHAT I CALL, "INSANE".

I thought the discussion was 4 Hurricanes? Is that right ot wrong?

Ivan isn't quite a Tropical Storm yet either, but hey I don't know you may be right?

What's really insane is that there is even a TD Ivan at all....this storm should've been dead 8 days ago

is ivan in the atlantic? last i checked that was the GOM

The GOM and Caribbean is considered the Atlantic basin.

thanks brent...i thought it was a "separate" area fromt the atlantic basin (as i thought the caribbean was as well)

The peak of the season is only 11 to 12 days before the first day of Autumn. Hurricane Gloria was one of those early autumn hurricanes, too.

Thats still the old forcast, they haven't updated it.

Nope. The Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico are all the Atlantic basin. If they weren't, they would have a separate list of names. :wink:
