Hmm, I wonder why the solar.ifa.hawaii.edu site doesn't show Ivan. Speaking of which, do you think our Gulf of Mexican storm should be Ivan or T.D. 14?

The Hawai'i site should have Ivan on it now.

In my opinion, this new system should be TD 14 / TS Matthew. The bulk of Ivan is over the Eastern Atlantic. They renumbered TD 6 last year on the same situation. They should have followed suit this time. But I can understand why they did it.
