Regarding names...

We had Fran, which was retired but then had Fran-ces...

Will there be an "Andy"? "Charles"? "Ivana"?

Dude I wasn't calling you out...Damn you people try to read into words too much....I was actually just asking a question myself. You could ask the same question every hour and I wouldn't care.

No, the NHC just likes names that have "Fran" in there... Fran, Frances, Franklin, etc. There won't be an Andy, Charles or Ivana, etc unless thats the name they come up with once a name is retired.

Presonally, I hope Charley is replaced with Cameron.

wolf...i accept that you weren't calling me out but i have viewed some of your past posts where you complain about many threads on the same subject and it seemed to me that you were doing the same about my post...so sorry if i may have been a little defensive...but all is good and hopefully this thing weakens (jeanne that is) and the nhc does not have to use "alpha, beta...etc"

or "alexis, bernie, charlotte, devin, earlette"--just trying to joke on these..

1) its my name. Buck's only a nickname

2) Charley I assume is one of the English/American names (since the lists are comprised of English/American, Spanish & French). Cameron is a Scottish Gaelic name which is popular in Great Britain and America and hence its eligible.

3) Its about time theres a Gaelic name on the list! I can't think of one off the top of my head.
