I believe this is a Florida Hurricane. Those models don't know what they are talking about unless it's over florida.

There is certainly model consensus TOWARD Florida at the very least.

Ivan and Jeanne are both going to tag team somewhere. We also could be talking about Ivan for years...It seems that the NHC doesn't want to let go of that name.

bud, and everyone else...many on other threads are saying that the 25n latitude is a "major" line for jeanne to cross south of...but even if she does go south it is very possible that florida will still be spared correct?

or does that latitude change everything?

The further south the system gets before making the W, WNW and NW turn, the more of a chance of a Georgia or Florida landfall.

How will Ivan and Jeanne be doing some tag teaming? NHC has Ivan heading to TX...Jeanne towards the Carolinas.

im with coldfront 77 on this one. The longer it takes to go west instead of sw or wsw the longer it will take it to make the turn which could mean running out of real estate for fla.

that does make sense...those poor floridians/my whole family (tampa/st pete area) have been through a lot!!!

does anyone think it might do a floyd and skirt the whole southeast coast?..isn't that what the models seem to basically be forecasting?

Ivan - Track and Streets combined. Extreme close up on street level.

Waiting for Jeanne to commit to her forecast track and will update the map.
