RAINFALL TOTALS FOR NEW ORLEANS

New Orleans is on the wet side of the depression. How much rainfall can we expect with this? any guesses?

Well I've already gotten about a half of an inch and I don't think two inches is out of the realm of possibility.

If that blob of rain associated with the northern part of Ivan makes it, I think 3-4" are possible.

Only in New Orleans can we expect 5 to 10 inches of rain and everyone not be in a panic.
