War!

#1 Postby MW98GT » Wed Sep 22, 2004 7:25 pm

Is mother nature declaring war on the atlantic basin and all its residents? http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/ This map is so cluttered. It might have even more clutter tonight with the system forming by Lisa. Also the new wave that came of the COA is looking decent. Depending on how long ivan stays over the GOM there is a possibility of 6 systems out there at once. I feel sorry for whomever has to type up the advisory discussions.

Also, how many cyclones have made landfall in a GOM state twice?

Juan in 85 hit LA, backed up into the gulf, made a run at LA again, and then said the hell with it, let's go to Florida.

My favorite multiple landfaller was Juan, class of 85. 3 in La and 1 in Ala. Multiple loops also. Wiped out Roanoke Va with flash floods in the end.
