I swore if Jeanne hit Florida that I was going to eat lima beans and I detest lima beans. Please turn Jeanne. I really will be sick if I have to eat those limas.

I have never had so much canned tuna, and ravioli in my pantry at one time..ever..my freezer is full to the brim with ice in bags, baggies, bottles, and jugs..*sigh*

I'll eat limas and pintos if she'll just stay away...

Wrap it in some of the seaweed that shows up on your front lawn. It'll seem Hawaiian... that's how they do it down there*. Mmmm... maybe with canned pineapple????

*down there, over there, way out there... wherever that non-CONUS state actually is

There is no way I would stay if Ms Jeanne decided to pay the Treasure Coast a call. We are still waiting for a new roof and soffits. The heavy rain we had earlier this week from Ivan caused us great concern because we weren't sure the roof would survive. As it is, we have enough tarps up there to help hold back any water. At least the water spots on the ceilings didn't get any larger, hopefully an indication that the tarps did what they were supposed to.

We are being told we could be waiting 2-3 months before repairs are started on the house from Frances. My father's condo was totally destroyed during Frances and they were told 5 months before a new roof can be constructed - 5 months of not being able to do any interior work since there's no sense replacing ceilings, walls and floors when there's nothing over your head.

Dump a can of Tony Chachere's on it and you'll never taste the lima. :)

Great observation, like you I feel exactly the same way. My ex-wife’s last name was Francis, she has re-married to some clown name Charley, who has a sister named… yep.. Jeanne. I’m a native Floridian and I remember Betsy, was only a child but the vision of a palm tree coming through a window is something one never forgets. Betsy did the loop, Jeanne is doing the same and now is pointing in our general direction. I currently live in the Palm Beach area, I’m afraid many are ignoring this storm. I actually saw several neighbors REMOVING their shutters yesterday afternoon. I wonder what they will say when they see this mornings track from the NHC?

Shoot, it's all your fault seaswing, if you would have left the plywood up, Jeanne would undoubtedly be a fish, lol, just kidding.

I am painting pumpkins on the boards, and if this keeps up, I'll paint over them with Santa a bit later!
