Ever heard of the Navy Coamps model? (keys hit)

interesting... it seems to have the intial motion, and status of the ridge right. I have yet to ever hear of this model however.

It develops Jeanne quiet nasty heading wnw, when she is SE of florida.

Yes, I have heard of it before. Jeanne would need to move SW before it gets to the Keys...

it keeps her moving sw through the bahamas then a west to eventually wnw motion... This doesn't seem that far off, albeit it is one of the outliers.

I wish we had satilite access so we could see what had happened so far over night.

That is a run off of the Nogaps. I believe it is one of the Navy NOGAPS. I know it is biased to the NOGAPS however...

Eric, I think ?DT? of WXRISK mentioned this model for Ivan towards the end and he says something like he only uses closer to land fall.
