Very interesting... glad they did that. but also not glad for obvious reasons.

I am a little disconcerted about the movement they are claiming to the west at 3mph.

I don't agree at all. Durring her re-organization over the past few hours she actually drifted southerly of sw.

Ouch. This is not something you guys in FL wanna see or need! I still wouldnt bet the farm on this yet. I say that because of what appears to be a stall or almost a stall by the looks of the last sat i seen. But those in FL sould start taking some precautions now. Wouldnt be a bad idea for those in GA to consider this as well. This is the worst case scenareo for a FL hit by this. Especially for those in Jacksonville and others to the east of that track.

The system has move 51.4 miles toward the SSW in the last 12 hours.

14.1 miles between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM in a southwesterly direction
and 39.2 miles in a south-southwesterly direction between 5:00 PM,
yesterday to 11:00 PM last night.

Harry, I am not directly responding to you. I am just giving out the information like I did with past storms.

Forward speed will be the key. The slower it goes, the less likelihood there is for a Florida landfall.
