http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod ... loop.shtml
It hasn't fully loaded yet
should be interesting to see as the rest roles in.
If anything it appears to retain a very slow jog in some discernable direction at this point.. between wsw and wnw... lol

I was reading your rants about the NHC last night and I totally agree with you. This 5am discussion does not even give how far the hurricane force winds extend and the tropical storm force winds extend from the center. <p> I think this is unbeleivable. Irresponsible and they(the NHC)must be democrats that think Bush stole the election in 2000. /rant off

I thought this was a weather board, not a political board.....oh well.

Look, I don't think NHC gets it right all the time. However, I think they do a pretty good job when all is said and done.

With all the tools available to all of us via the internet, we can (and do) make our own forecasts.
So you don't have to even pay any attention to the NHC if you don't want to.

Now, I'm off to a Kerry ralley..........

(yea right) as if that would ever happen.

the Public advisory gives the dimensions of Hurriane force winds and Tropical Storm force winds not discussion.

They must of forgotton to I presume.

at 11 pm they said

HURRICANE FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 45 MILES... 75 KM...
FROM THE CENTER...AND TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP
TO 140 MILES...220 KM.

Looks like Palm Beach County to me....We are having trouble believing it. Each run keeps getting Jeanne farther south, maybe straits of Florida or Cuba by tomorrow???
Wouldn't wish this on anyone really,
