How far west...

#1 Postby frederic79 » Thu Sep 23, 2004 11:29 am

How far west should this ridge over Jeanne build. Seems like yesterday the NHC mentioned some models showing an elongated east/west ridge building in. Apparently the latest NOGAPS mirrors this thinking. Given the way the models this year have handled, or mishandled, much of the ridges (i. e. Ivan at one time projected to strike east Florida instead of coastal Alabama), could Jeanne cross Florida and make it into the Gulf as a hurricane?
