Just an FYI...wobbles are wobbles. Hurricanes are rotating systems and they spin about on their axis...like a fast-moving top. From time to time these spins will drag them north...then south and all over the place. There is no avioding that fact. Also...following a less than circular eye in satellite imagery...and trying to interpert motion from 2 or 3 or 4 frames will drive you crazy.
There is nothing in the short term that is going to allow for much northward motion from Jeanne. I am wishing that we could see that...but I do not believe we will see that based on all of the ridging we can clearly see in satellite imagery.
The question will become how is the ridge in 3 days from now....will it break down in time to let Jeanne loose?
It is going to come down to the wire. Please do not ask me to answer posts about motion estimates over a short time period...or for anything less than 6 hours. I will ignore them. You have to look at long-term 12 hour motion to establish a trend.
