Derek...do you feel it will only be a T.S. once in S.C. thats what the local mets think??

Hey Derek, that goes right over my house in Jax. They just announced today that they have only picked up 50% of the debris left by Frances here. I hope this thing loses some steam before she gets up here or it will be really ugly. Alot of piles of trees laying out on the street. Everything from limbs to tree trunks. Looks like it will be a long week ahead.

this is a cane landfall for the carolinas. that 120 hour position is already inland

Derek, I am so confused. The forcast mentions a Cat 3 along the FL coast, but the graphic #16, the one I see, shows it hitting the Carolinas, and then that is what you said in the post above. So are you saying that the Jeanne will just skim the coast and make landfall in the Carolinas?

He has a double landfall, first in Florida near the NHC track and then in the Carolinas.

Well, I just don't want it!!!<stomping feet> And that means my "hurricane go away man" did not work. Figured once Mean Jean saw it, she would run. ( I would) But hey, it ain't over til its over. Time is on our side.The "trend" is our friend, right???

Don't think they can go up that much w/o getting approval from the State Insurance Commission.
Thats what I thought also..I called the price gouge number, the insurance commissioner ect and they all said nothing they can do...go figure...My insurance is more than my mortage.
