that high is very strong, and i think it will guide jeanne more west.

I will go with climatology and say either S. FL or NC. Both seem much more likely to me than a Daytona to Savannah landfall!

i think a floyd skirt of the coast...maybe brief landfalls...with a direct on the outer banks

after edit: i noticed that on a thread i posted on yesterday..that floyd did not skirt the coast...i will withdraw that statement...that he did...but it think jeanne will

I'm about to update the website, and am working on the forecast discussion in the next few minutes ... unfortunately, doesn't look good for Central FL, and on up to E GA, and the E Carolinas ...

My brother-in-law (also from NC) is due to fly to Orlando on Sunday for business. Sure hope his plans have changed.
