as I look at vapor loop it looks like the ridge is still moving west and has reached the west coast of fla, and is nose is still moving that way. Hence, I believe jeanne will start moving faster, and make it across the state before its north turn.
A similar situation as with Ivan, as the ridge just kept building west so went Ivan.
