jeanne like Frances?

Anybody think Jeanne will make Fla Landfall near to where Frances hit?

as I look at vapor loop it looks like the ridge is still moving west and has reached the west coast of fla, and is nose is still moving that way. Hence, I believe jeanne will start moving faster, and make it across the state before its north turn.
A similar situation as with Ivan, as the ridge just kept building west so went Ivan.

i would think for the time being she won't gain any more latitude, but then again i've been saying that for the past couple of hours

not quite, because of the wnw movement over last 9 hrs, and depending on strenght of ridge. Just saying if it stays on wnw to west course and ridge continues to extend westward Jeanne could make it across into the gom. Even the infamous cone of track has it into the gom.

Thanks. According to the 8PM advisory she is nearly stationary and is expected to resume a westward movement later tonight or Friday. For selfish reasons, I was hoping she would get WELL above 81 before the turn.
