How does Jeanne come to South Carolina??? The models shifted that far east??

I have no idea how he came up with that?? He was showing the high and how it was affecting the top of Jeanne and then the trough under her keeping her from going south

haven't watched TWC tropical updates since John Hope left. Not saying Lyons isn't a good met, just something about the guy I don't like. However, i do occassionaly like to see where they send Cantore to cover a storm, that way i know to evacuate to wherever he's at. :lol:

I have alot of respect for Steve Lyons he does have a doctorate. But as far as this year goes his thoughts have been about as far off as the GFS

Only the 18z GFS and the 00z tropical models that are BASED on the GFS grid ... but the GFS starts furthest south before stalling briefly (temporary roadblock on Jeanne with the ridge to the north, before the ridge pulls offshore and flows through the weakness/trough in between a building ridge in the Central Plains and the departing high offshore ...
