Cape Verde season done?

It's beginning to look like we can consider the Cape Verde season over,
at least with regards of threats to the US.

There's now a good flow from W to E with trough/high/trough/high

It's late Sptember, so all of this makes sense.

Now we still have the Carribean/GOM to watch for another month.

Yes its over man..If not a storm should not make it past 50 w if it develops..

Your speaking of the azores high wich has been pushed much further east. however, it could easily build back in later on. Until there is a major front that comes through and breaks the Atlantic pattern, it (cape verde season) is still on. I think we still have a good two weeks left. IMO
