#1 Postby logybogy » Fri Sep 24, 2004 10:21 am

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is Jeanne going WSW the last few frames?

I concur , maybe a EWR? if not atleast a wobble. At this points wobbles are huge.

if you watch the eye in the visible it has wobbled a little wsw. the dry air entrenched above it makes it look like it is moving due W from a few hours ago.

I saw it & Bryan Norcross said a few moments ago & pointed it out on a extreme close up satellite animation that it has indeed taken a southern jog. This is also explained in the NHC discussion @ 11 AM that some W/SW movement is possible.

It looked more like the eye spun around the center of circulation somehow, but still going west....
