I've heard that Ivan may pop his head in the gulf again.

Ok, this guy likes the gulf!

He's been to Gulf Shores, Pensacloa, The Louisiana Gulf Coast, Passed by New Orleans on his way back and up towards Houston.

Where else can he go and WHAT is he looking for?

JB has been mentioning this as a possibility for a couple of days now; not as something he was banking on, but as a *possibility*. His speculation was that it could make it near the BOC / SW Gulf and crank up into another storm in those waters.

I'm trying to see it, but I can't. It looks like the circulation center is stationary, and expanding some. The clouds do seem to be spreading out further from the center though. I want him to bring us some rain, but I am willing to let him wait until GalvGirl has her meeting. I've waited 3 months for rain, surely i can wait until after 3 today. :D
I'll check the link later, and hopefully it will have definately started a southerly move by then.

I almost hate to say this, but it looks to me that he is dipping south back into the GOM and heading EAST?

I don't know!!! :(

Ivan is not moving south...Ivan is gone and the remnants are moving to the north and northeast. We have not had a drop of rain in the Houston Area from Ivan. And frankly, I dont see it happening. I will water my yard again today, just like yesterday when Local Mets had rain chances at 70-80%.

Normally, I would agree. However Ivan has made everyone a fool, so I will not completely rule him out.

Shoot, I still don't see the circulation moving at all, just the clouds. Am I looking at the wrong thing. I'm looking just under the "Sep" at the top left of the screen.
