I often watch some of the Orlando TV weather guys and I thinh they do the general public a great dis-service. Each one is trying to create a name for himself by going against the educated weather guys forecast. The good ones always have a way out in the event his forecast is a bust! In the meantime so much of the general public is swayed by these guys and put a lot of trust in their opinions...a potential tragedy in my opinion. Orlando had a great TV weather guy years ago but when he saw the first turn og Floyd and began to try and relax the public he got blasted by the networks. Forget his name but was once the chief at NHC. So their constant goin against the grain and potentially mis-leading the public so he can say "I predicted it first" is potentially dangerous. Mr. Tom Terry has no more advanced knowledge or info than anyone else! Those guys in Coral Gables have the training..the tools and experience for these storms. Thanks for your time!!
